Kevin Federline Maintains Custody of Britney Spears' Children

A Los Angeles County judge refused to restore Britney Spears' custody of her two sons today. But Britney Spears has been allowed supervised visits with her two children until the next court appearance scheduled for October 26th. This really has to be embarrassing for the pop-star princess! Spears has lost custody of both her sons after battling for months with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

So when will Britney get to see her son, Jayden James and Sean Preston?

“Britney’s access to her kids works out to about every other day. The visits will not necessarily occur back-to-back.”

The judge has also insisted that Britney show up for the next hearing. She was prevented her from going to the first showdown. TMZ is reporting she took her little pooch for a ride to get a cup of cream coffee. This girl have her Priorities All Wrong! Her lawyer was working overtime asking the judge to overrule the original ruling deeming it “unfair”, but L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon thought otherwise.

Britney Spears Loses Custody of her Kids

Britney Law breaking has caught up to her.


Kevin Federline's lawyer went to court this morning in Los Angeles to tell on Britney Spears! KFed's asked the court for coustody and got it reporting on her for driving on a suspended license with her kids in the car this past weekend. Brit was spotted last night in Malibu driving her kids home from dinner.



Britney Spears was photographed by paparazzi blatantly breaking the law, again, like having a opened container of alcohol in a car, using a cell phone while driving and driving without a valid California driver license with her kids in the car, again. So Britney Spears was ordered Monday to surrender custody of her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon ruled that Federline will take custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, beginning Wednesday "until further order of the court."

The order stemmed from an unspecified oral motion made by Federline's attorneys and was handled in a closed-door hearing. The judge's order didn't state the reason for the change in custody and all transcripts of the proceedings were ordered sealed.

Phone messages left for representatives of Spears and Federline were not immediately returned Monday.

Last month, Gordon said Spears engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol." He ordered the pop star to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody dispute with Federline.

Spears also was previously ordered to meet weekly with a "parenting coach" who was to observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills. Both Spears and Federline must complete the court's "Parenting Without Conflict" class.

Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, were wed in October 2004. She filed for divorce last November and it became official in July. The two have joint custody of their sons, but Federline is seeking a greater share of custody.

Since Spears became single, her troubles have played out in the tabloids. First she was photographed at various Hollywood hotspots partying with Paris Hilton. Some photos captured Spears without panties. Then Spears shaved her head, beat a car with an umbrella and ended up spending a month in rehab.

An MTV Video Music Awards performance last month meant to herald her comeback was universally panned. The following week, Spears' management firm dropped her and her divorce lawyer resigned.

She then was charged with misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run and driving without a valid license for allegedly crashing into a parked car in August.

Britney Spears Loses Custody of Her Kids to K-Fed

Kevin Federline now has temporary custody of both boys due the written testimony of Britney’s ex-bodyguard. The documents submitted to the judge yesterday accuse Britney Spears of nudity and drug use in front of the kids and also questioned their safety in her care.

The judge, Commissioner Scott Gordon in the Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline custody battle found that "there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by (Britney Spears). " The judge has ordered Britney "to undergo testing for the use of controlled substances and alcohol." Testing will be conducted randomly twice a week.

According to the judge's order, no changes were made yesterday in the custody arrangement. As we first reported, custody is split 50/50 between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. He wants to change it to 70/30 in his favor.

Britney Spears will temporarily lose custody. The judge ordered the boys, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, turned over to Kevnin Federline based on information that Los Angeles Family Court received over the weekend about Spears.

The documents underscore the bitterness in the custody battle. Judge Scott Gordon ruled that "Each party is restrained from making derogatory remarks about the other party and the other party's family or significant other..."

The judge also prohibits Britney Spears and Kevin Federline from "using corporal punishment with the minor children and from allowing anyone else to do so."

The judge also ordered the battling parents "to engage in joint co-parenting counseling." The order continues, "Each party is ordered to complete the PARENTING WITHOUT CONFLICT program."

The judge went on, "Neither party shall consume alcohol, or other non-prescription controlled substance during or for the 12 hours immediately preceding any period such party is responsible for the health and safety of the minor children."

In addition to the co-parenting counseling classes ordered, the judge also ordered Britney Spears to meet separately with a parenting coach a minimum of eight hours a week. The coach must observe Britney's interactions with her children and provide progress reports to the court.

The "secret" witness Gloria Allred brought to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline custody hearing today testified about Brit's drug use and nudity after rehab. Tony Barretto was hired to be her bodyguard when she got out of rehab and was fired in May, because he didn't hear her when she told him to pick up her hat.

Tony said he came forward, because being a father himself he became extremely concerned for the safety of the kids. Barretto, himself the father of young children, came forward, Allred says, because while working for Britney, he became “very concerned” about the safety of her two boys. Allred also said that she has spoken to County Counsel for Child Protective Services about Barretto's concerns.

Neither Britney Spears nor Kevin Federline lawyers chose to cross-examine him. His declaration went "unrefuted and unchallenged." You know what makes this Dude’s story totally legitimate? He claims Britney Spears fired him for not picking up her hat.

Britney Spears May Lose Custody of Her Sons Today

Fox News is reporting that Britney Spears could lose custody of her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James as early as Monday morning. This is a real possibility, thanks to crusading Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred.

The Los Angeles attention hound lawyer Allred is bringing a "secret" witness to court tomorrow. She is bringing a witness to court Monday for the custody battle between Spears and ex-husband .

Last week, it surfaced that Allred filed a signed declaration declaration from the witness, a man who's had close observations of Spears using drugs around her sons.

The judge in the closed hearing case, Commissioner Scott Gordon, has the declaration, and does not have to rule on it. He can simply read it and enter it into the case’s existing papers.
