Ian Pendergrast, manager for Donisha Prendergast, granddaughter of Rita Marley and reggae superstar Bob Marley who was cast in the spotlight a few weeks ago after a sexually explicit video tape reportedly with her and a male companion found its way on the internet told the Weekly Star that people should not pass judgement on the young actress.

"People should reserve judgement. They should get the facts first," he reiterated.

Donisha joins a growing list of popular Jamaican celebrities and public figures who have had their private sex lives circulated publicly on the internet, by e-mail and cellular phones.

Since the tape surfaced, there has been conflicting stories as to how it got released and who is to be blamed. Ian stands by Donisha who is also his niece, saying he is confident she would not intentionally put out a sex tape just to garner publicity.

"Donisha has the outmost respect for herself and would not do anything to damage the reputation and integrity of the family. That is something that I know," he disclosed.

While admitting that he would not personally watch the tape to positively identify the persons in the video, he was concerned about whoever leaked it on the net.

"The person that made the video public should be held accountable. It is sad what they did," he said.

The male featured on the tape is believed to be a well-known Jamaican actor.
