Shamita Shetty (born 2 February 1979) is an Indian actress. She is the younger sister of Bollywood legend/superstar actress Shilpa Shetty (Tulu: ಶಿಲ್ಪ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ)
Shetty made her debut with the 2000 blockbuster Mohabbatein. Since Mohabbatein, she mostly found success in item numbers, for which she is best known, these include: "Sharara Sharara" in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2001) and "Chori Pe Chori" in Saathiya (2002). Later Shetty found success as an actress in her first solo-hit Zeher. She also worked with sister Shilpa Shetty for the first time in Fareb in the same year.
