Georgia Faye Horsley (born 1987 in North Yorkshire, England) won the Miss England 2007 title and the opportunity to represent England in the Miss World 2007 pageant which was held in Sanya, China on the 1 December that year. Horsley has her success at one of the fast track events held during the pageant when she was one of the top 18 semifinalists of the Miss World Talent. In spite of being one of the early favourites of the contest, she failed to secure a place in the top 16 on the final night.
It was reported internationally when the representatives of the Miss England pageant committee asked her to "fatten up" in order to get a more "womanly figure" and to help end anorexia among models.
